The passion, seduction and melancoly of Tango and the glorious music of Opera are combined in "Maria de Buenos Aires" a world-renowned production featuring music by Astor Piazzolla and songs by Horacio Ferrer. Brought to Washington by the Teatro Colon, Latin America's greatest Opera House, the ensemble includes a cast of over thirty of Colon's most acclaimed Argentine and Uruguayan artists, including the beautiful Patrice Barone who plays "Maria" and Nelson Pino, "The Ghost."
